Position: UI UX Designer / Engineer

Acquis Bi is developing new web enterprise platforms and applications to address the need for collaborative Pan-European healthcare solutions. We are looking for someone who cares about working in a team environment and loves autonomy to create with us.  Our back-end engineers have developed amazing technology, and we need someone who can redesign and engineer the best user experience for our customers. The successful candidate must have great collaboration and communication skills to work within the organization and with clients; therefore, excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are a must.

 

Required Skills

• Multimedia development skills

• Ensure that UI/UX designs are technically feasible; UI mockups with PhotoShop, Flash and Illustrator skills and experience.

• Good experience in HTML/CSS and static templating

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Ability to create new user-facing features with JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML5 and CSS3

• Good knowledge of RestFul web services

• Good knowledge of React/Webpack or similar

• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

• Experience with Flux and/or Redux would be a distinct advantage

• Able to work in an agile development environment

• Scrum master experience an advantage but not a requirement

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Equivalent: BS or MS in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Locations:

• These positions are currently available in Acquis Business Intelligence European Research and Software Development Center in Limerick, Ireland.

• Additional positions will become available Silicon Valley, Campbell, California USA and in North Dublin and Drogheda region later in 2018.
